Description
The Ferry Kitsap is one of a pair of Washington state ferries that provide service between downtown Seattle and Bremerton. Washington State has double-ended boats that allow for loading and unloading on either end. This boat has two levels for loading cars and a third deck for passengers. The travel between the two docks is around 60 minutes. This image was taken just as the ferry was making its final turn into the Bremerton dock. The shoreline in the background is that of Port Orchard. Port Orchard, the county seat for Kitsap County, is across Sinclair Inlet from Bremerton.
