With a work slowdown at west coast ports, container ships like this one must wait in calm waters for a slip at the loading docks. This twilight image in Puget Sound waters shows an anchored, Hyundai ship tucked away between Washington State�s marine park (Blake Island) and the South Colby area of the Kitsap Peninsula. From the shore, one can hear the hum of motors running and occasionally catch a glimpse of crew members. This ship is waiting for time at the dock at the Port of Tacoma. Hyundai Global, registered in the United Kingdom, responds to the call sign of 2BUH7. Built in 2009, Hyundai Global is 339.62 meters in length. Moving through the Puget Sound waters, it dwarfs the Washington State ferry fleet.
