American Pekin ducks. Pekin ducks are a domestic breed used primarily for their meat and their eggs. Ancestors of the Pekin include Mallard ducks. These white ducks were introduced in the United States when they were imported to Long Island from China. Some still refer to them as Long Island duck. The majority of the duck meat consumed in this country is that of the beautiful white Pekin.
Faithe specializes in landscapes, seascapes, weathered structures, lighthouses, some macro floral photography, objects as art and abstracts from nature. She primarily shoots during the beginning and ending of daylight hours, seeks the off-beaten path, loves to catch reflections in quiet waters, and is delighted when her in-the-camera images satisfy her critical eye with only limited post-production touch-ups. Creating specialty note cards for clients is satisfying work, as well. With all rights reserved, U.S. and International Copyright Laws protect all photographic images on this website.
