The ocean-side village of Long Beach attracts thousands of tourists as it boasts one of the longest sandy beaches in the country. Kite flying is a popular pastime. This lonely kite is soaring on evening breezes as the last light of day fades over the Pacific Ocean.
Faithe specializes in landscapes, seascapes, weathered structures, lighthouses, some macro floral photography, objects as art and abstracts from nature. She primarily shoots during the beginning and ending of daylight hours, seeks the off-beaten path, loves to catch reflections in quiet waters, and is delighted when her in-the-camera images satisfy her critical eye with only limited post-production touch-ups.
