Description

The sun was captured just after it burst through a bank of fog over West Seattle. I had the good fortune to be on the upper passenger deck of a ferry that was docked and had my camera gear with me. This particular sunrise was so spectacular that most of the boats' passengers stopped their conversations, or whatever they were doing, and moved to the windows that faced east. It really was one of those genuine wow events.
