Artist's Description
The Tatoosh Mountain range is within the boundary of Mt. Rainier National Park. A small valley separates this range from the base of Mt. Rainier, the National Park's Visitor's Center, and the historic Paradise Inn Lodge. This is a summer scene as the tallest mountain in Washington's Cascade Mountain range perpetually influences its own weather. This image was captured an hour before the sunset and magically illuminated the snowy peaks.
About E Faithe Lester
Faithe specializes in landscapes, seascapes, weathered structures, lighthouses, some macro floral photography, objects as art and abstracts from nature. She primarily shoots during the beginning and ending of daylight hours, seeks the off-beaten path, loves to catch reflections in quiet waters, and is delighted when her in-the-camera images satisfy her critical eye with only limited post-production touch-ups. Creating specialty note cards for clients is satisfying work, as well. With all rights reserved, U.S. and International Copyright Laws protect all photographic images on this website. Without specific, written permission from the artist, E. Faithe Lester, the images may not be copied, reproduced, manipulated or used in any way.
