Washington State Ferry Hyak is just one of a large fleet of ferries that are operated by the Washington State Department of Transportation. Hyak is on a morning run between Bremerton and Seattle. Bremerton, Washington sits on inland waterways of the Puget Sound region. It is home to the Navy Base Kitsap and Shipyard. Bremerton is on the Kitsap Peninsula with easy access to the Olympic National Park to the west; ocean beaches, after a two-hour drive to the south and west; Victoria BC, after a drive north to Port Angeles, where a couple of ferry systems offer transport between the two nations. Washington State Ferry Hyak is absolutely shimming printed on metal with the shades of blue creating a sense of real life.
