Grafton Lighthouse was dedicated in 2007 and was built in response to the destruction of the town during the great flood of 1993. This is a symbolic structure to promote the commerce of Grafton, Illinois and does not provide navigational service. Grafton is located near the confluence of the Mississippi and Illinois Rivers.
Faithe specializes in landscapes, seascapes, weathered structures, lighthouses, some macro floral photography, objects as art and abstracts from nature. She primarily shoots during the beginning and ending of daylight hours, seeks the off-beaten path, loves to catch reflections in quiet waters, and is delighted when her in-the-camera images satisfy her critical eye with only limited post-production touch-ups.
