Artist's Description
During the long summer days in the Puget Sound region of Washington State, sunsets off showoff brilliant colors in the sky and as water reflections. This setting is that of Yukon Harbor on the Kitsap Peninsula west of Seattle. This distant horizon is that of downtown Seattle and the Cascade Mountains to the east. The color flash on lasts for a few minutes unless one is fortunate enough to capture it with film or as a digital image.
About E Faithe Lester
Faithe specializes in landscapes, seascapes, weathered structures, lighthouses, some macro floral photography, objects as art and abstracts from nature. She primarily shoots during the beginning and ending of daylight hours, seeks the off-beaten path, loves to catch reflections in quiet waters, and is delighted when her in-the-camera images satisfy her critical eye with only limited post-production touch-ups. Creating specialty note cards for clients is satisfying work, as well. With all rights reserved, U.S. and International Copyright Laws protect all photographic images on this website.
