Moonset at Dawn represents the abundance of beauty of the Pacific Northwest. With winter's snow still capping the Olympic Mountains, and the rising sun kissing them with shades of pink, the moon paused just long enough to pose. Typical for much of the year is some ground fog along the surface of the Hood Canal that separates the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas.
About E Faithe Lester
Faithe specializes in landscapes, seascapes, weathered structures, lighthouses, some macro floral photography, objects as art and abstracts from nature. She primarily shoots during the beginning and ending of daylight hours, seeks the off-beaten path, loves to catch reflections in quiet waters, and is delighted when her in-the-camera images satisfy her critical eye with only limited post-production touch-ups.
