Artist's Description

In Southworth Washington, the first light of day awakens the starlings and the entire flocks takes to the air. They rush about, change direction and altitude as one orchestrated team. This morning their image was accentuated by the brilliance of the sun-brightened clouds above them. As soon as the rising sun grew higher in the sky, the reflections off the clouds disappeared, the birds dispersed and the image quickly faded and then disappeared.

About E Faithe Lester

E Faithe Lester

Faithe specializes in landscapes, seascapes, weathered structures, lighthouses, some macro floral photography, objects as art and abstracts from nature. She primarily shoots during the beginning and ending of daylight hours, seeks the off-beaten path, loves to catch reflections in quiet waters, and is delighted when her in-the-camera images satisfy her critical eye with only limited post-production touch-ups. Creating specialty note cards for clients is satisfying work, as well. With all rights reserved, U.S. and International Copyright Laws protect all photographic images on this website.
