During late fall and early winter in western Washington State, one will find primroses available at local nurseries and the nursery department at super markets. They tolerate cold temperatures and like damp conditions making them ideal to liven deck pots that are otherwise empty or filled with dormant or dead plants from the prior season. Colors include purple, blue, pink, white, orange, red, yellow and cream.

Faithe specializes in landscapes, seascapes, weathered structures, lighthouses, some macro floral photography, objects as art and abstracts from nature. She primarily shoots during the beginning and ending of daylight hours, seeks the off-beaten path, loves to catch reflections in quiet waters, and is delighted when her in-the-camera images satisfy her critical eye with only limited post-production touch-ups.
