Description
Early spring in Western Washington State kept the Olympic Mountains covered with snow. From the east, the rising sun kissed the snow-covered mountains with pink glows. Fog at the base of the mountains followed the waterline of that portion of Puget Sound known as Hood Canal. This image gazes from the Kitsap Peninsula to the Olympic Mountains and the Olympic Mountains National Park that defines the western boundary of the Olympic Peninsula.
